I had a beautiful female dog and her name was Daisy, she passed away on the 31st of December, 2005 and she was 5 years old.

I remember when we first got her….We went to a lady who was selling Bichon Frises, I have never forgotten that day, it was the year 2000 and me, mum and dad were driving in the car, mum said we were just going to “visit” - instead I brought home my Daisy and she was only 6 weeks old.

Daisy was with me and my family for nearly 6 years and she was a much loved member of the family.
To me she was like a sister. Whenever I was feeling down she would be the one I would turn to, to you it may sound silly but for me well it seemed like the perfect thing to do, she was the most calm and gentle dog you could ever imagine.

I just want my Daisy to know that she will never be forgotten and that there will always be a place in my heart for her, no dog could ever compare to her.

I love you Daisy.

Chloe our Tibetan Terrier was sadly put to sleep on March 22, 2008 at age 10. She suffered with a blocked bile duct and tumour and we could tell the kindest thing to do would be to let her go to heaven. We got her as a puppy from a breeder.

From the ‘gorr’ noises she made when yawning, to being woken by an adorable doggie face in the morning, she made our family so happy. I have never loved a pet so much in my life. Chloe was an intuitive, sensitive and loving dog who loved to be around family.

We will love you forever, our precious angel.

Suffered hip dysplasia, had multiple operations on her legs and finally got cancer of the bones.

You loved to run and play, especially with your mates Zeus and Sally. I loved the way you used to creep in the house with such stealth, even opening up the rusty door with no one hearing then frightening the hell out of us.

No more pain where you are sweetheart. I will think about you everyday. One day we will be together again my darling.

Paige will miss feeding you sand, and you can finally run at ease and chase balls. I love you Rox. Goodbye for now.

Millie Mae - 3/8/97 - 25/11/07

I got my Millie Mae as a wee tiny puppy. She was born on the 8th March, 1997 and had the most adorable eyes you have ever seen.

A smooth coated red Chow Chow, she was my love and my life. My best friend and my family. She was intelligent and brave. She could almost talk.

She saved my life on at least three occasions. Please forgive me Millie that I could not do the same for you my darling. I’ll never forget your screams of pain as you lay dying in the car as I tried to get you to the vet in time…but I was too late my love. You were cruelly taken away from me, before your time, and now I just don’t know how to cope without you being there.

I look at your photo every day and I don’t know how to stop the tears, my love. I wish you were here. I love you my Millie darling and I always will. I truly hope there is a Rainbow Bridge so we will never be separated again.

‘Arnie’ misses you too Millie - he wouldn’t eat until recently and just follows me around quietly. He puts his paw on my foot and says, “I miss her, mum.” I tell him I know as we sit together and cry.

Mitch was a beautiful and very friendly german shepherd cross. He lived
for many years in Kinglake - roaming around the 5 acres with his sister
LuLu (who passed away this year at 16 yrs).

Mitch was born on Valentine’s day 14/2/1991 and died on 7/10/2007 -
making him 16 1/2 years old. Mitch spent many years working in Aged
Care Home as a Pet Therapy dog and was loved by all for his kind
and generous nature. He did not like to swim and only went swimming
when he was 6 years of age!!

He loved his food and riding in the car - he was my dearest friend and I
cared and loved him dearly - in the later years he suffered badly with
Cushings Disease and I used to carry him out each day to go for his little
walks - he struggled with small steps - ballerina steps my dad called them.
But he loved being outside each day - it was the hardest thing I ever
had to do - but Mitch had a very large tumour growing and he never let
on or complained.

He passed away on sunday afternoon 7/10/2007 being cuddled and
held all night as he could no longer stand up.

I miss you dearly and with all my heart - you were faithful, loyal,
loving and special and I am proud that I could be there to the very end
with you - bless your little soul, Mitch you are with Lulu now and I
miss you both very much.

I am so proud and honoured to have known such devotion - you
were there for me in my terrible times of hurt and abandonment. you
will never be forgotten my little furry friends.

Love and hugs ROSE.
