Emma,
You seemed a bit lost after your soul mate Sam
went to Rainbow Bridge to early.
In your vetran years you always managed to
come and greet me for a pat.

You were just the best girl

Clara

Clara, a much loved Labrador, who passed away on  13/6/2009 at age 7 after being with The Gallagher Family for 7 years.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Clara you are much loved and we are so glad and feel privileged that you chose us as your family. We will miss you but you will always be in our hearts. Who would have thought that just a check up would lead to so much heart break 9 days later? Rusty (dog), Tom, Shelly, Tin Tin and Maggie (the cats) are feeling lost without you. But we have you close and all we have to do is look out the study window and there you are. You are our special girl and always will be you will always be our little speed bump. We love you and miss you so much!

Jacky

Our much loved Kelpie-Staffy-x female dog JACKY was hit by a car on 27/5/09 at the young age of 13 months and died on the scene.

JACKY became our family member since we adopted her from the RSPCA in Malaga on 27/12/08. What came into her mind that she left the game and ran off like the wind? We will never know.

We had only 5 months together but they were full of love, happiness and fun at the dog agility training.

We will never forget you, JACKY! RIP

Rusty

Rusty, a terrier X special, was 12 months old when he was adopted in June 1994 and flown to my mother in Perth where he lived until they both came to live in Albert Park with me in 1995.

When my Mother passed away in 2001 Rusty became my own little dog.   He was a brave and loyal little friend, and did so well to stay with me until June 11, 2009 - just 3 days after his 16th birthday party.

His little being is missed so much

Spreyton died at about midnight on the 16th -17th May. Many years of
devotion to us, Rebecca was his mummy.

I am Rebeccas Mum and I bought Spreyton for
Rebeccas 21st birthday. Spreyton was there for Rebecca through all her ups
and downs of life.

Spreyton (tonnyor tonton) gave Rebecca all she needed
and now she has a broken heart.

Spreyton will be in my heart and Rebeccas

Klaus Keller

30/09/98 – 05/01/09

Klaus, a longhaired German Shepherd, chose me when he was 10 days old in 1998 from a reputable breeder down The Great Ocean Road in Victoria.

After ten years, on Monday 5th January, 2009 the heart-breaking decision came to euthanise Klaus due to his chronic kidney failure diagnosed two weeks before. I feel blessed with the gift of time, spending every minute of the final two weeks with Klaus enjoying all the things he loved doing so much (as he paradoxically felt better than he had in months on his palliative medication).

It was a very peaceful and beautiful procedure with Klaus passing away in my arms and looking into my eyes with great love at the final moment. I know he is in a better place now, running free like a puppy along Fairhaven Beach, with no pain at all.

Epitaph

Klaus, you were my most special, wonderful baby, loving best friend and ‘mythical’ beast for over ten years. You will always be the Prince of the Golden, Golden Frogs. I will love and miss you every single day, my beautiful Klaus. It has been an absolute honour and a privilege to be your mother. I thank you for giving me so much and for staying with me for so long. Until we meet again, my big beautiful Angel. You are always in my heart. Goodbye my baby boy. All my love, Skye xx.

Bobby

My cat Bobby died on the 29 Jan at the age of only 2 years. Unfortunately he was hit by the car crossing the street almost in front of our home (now Roma, Qld).
I adopted him from the RSPCA in April 2007 and he lived with me since then. He was a funny little thing and although diagnosed with feline aids last year, lived an eventful and happy hunting life, loved playing with his feline friend ‘Daisy’ and later on teasing his doggie friend Honey!
I miss him dearly and will never forget him. Bobby, I’m sure Daisy will look after you for me, finally you’re together again, miss you both!

Martina.
