Missy

Missy

Sadly missed, Missy Beagle after long illness, sent to Rainbow Bridge on 30th August 2007 aged 11years 10months.

Missy came to us aged 6 and half from owners who no longer wanted her. She was a real little character, and won a place in many hearts, getting up to all sorts of tricks, like opening her own can of sardines after pulling out a wire draw to get to them !! She is remembered by many and missed by all… We love you Missy, enjoy a well earned rest, little girl!!!

Ran

Ben

Ran was put to sleep on 12.08.07 due to complications with his heart. He was 3 days off 11. He came home to me when I was 16 at 8 weeks old, and never left my side. I have been blessed by Ran being in my life and hold him dear to my heart. He was the most loving, cuddly, goof ball you could ever meet. I have proven people’s beliefs wrong that Rotti’s are vicious and scary, Ran was the complete opposite!

Ran, I miss you more than you could ever imagine, the house is not the same without you here. I miss your nudgies; your snoring at night and most of all your company.

Ben and I will be waiting for those nudgies when we meet you at Rainbow Bridge.

A gorgeous German Shepherd with such a gentle and loving nature. She was loved so much by everyone who met her. It was so hard saying goodbye. She will be truly missed, it is still a struggle not having her here as she touched so many hearts and she will never be forgotten.

Penny

Penny July

Maltese-Terrier Cross Penny passed away in June 2007 at almost 14 years of age.

She was a beautiful, friendly, happy and sweet little dog who brought much joy to our family. Meant to be on a weekend visit from the pet store,
we fell in love immediately and she ended up staying for good. With us through it all, she lived with us in Melbourne, then on to Ballarat in 1998, where she remained till her passing. Penny was a member of our family, a companion to our cat Milligan and she will be missed terribly. She was my best friend.

Kujo

Kujo

Kujo ,a black and tan pure breed Rottweiler, died on the 8th of October 2006. As a puppy I could fit him in the palm of my hand and I carried him around with me all the time, sometimes in my jacket pocket with his little head sticking out.

He was absolutely adored and loved by myself and my family. He was brought into the family from a Rottweiler breeder and the love and loyalty he showed us was returned two folds, he was incredible.

I will always miss his buffy head and the way he knew when I was upset, he passed away peacefully at the age of 13. I was there with him until the end and I was extremely fortunate to have said good bye. His ashes are now at my house so he can always be with me. I will always love him and never forget him .

A soul mate forever.

Tofu

Tofu

Tofu was a terrier cross and the happiest little dog you could ever wish to meet. He came into our lives at Xmas 2000 as a very hungry and dehydrated stray. We brought him inside gave him food and a drink and here he stayed.

Tofu was so very friendly to everyone he met either human or animal. Wherever we went the first words we would hear was a joyous “Tof is here!!, hiya Tof, give us a kiss…” he wasn’t exactly an obedient dog but that too was part of his charm, sometimes he was good Tof sometimes his evil twin, but he was always adorable.

Tof passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday 12 May 2007 aged 8 years, Bry,Cheryl Robbie and Jack are heartbroken and still can’t believe it, we miss you everyday Tof and always will. Thank you so much for all the love and smiles you gave us…. We will love you forever

Cody

Cody

Terrier cross ‘Cody’ (Conchito) was born in a large litter of furry friends
on December 10, 1990. Certainly the alpha male of this Salazar family in
Caroline Springs, he left us on May 11, 2007 aged 16yrs 5mths. At 2 weeks
old bottle feeding was a mum job, luckily a doll’s box was big enough to
sleep in.

Who knew he would grow up to be so big in a litter of little pups?

We won’t forget the time we sat in our new home and watched out the window
to see if mum and dad were home to find you eating our fish & chips on the
rug.

You will be missed and remembered by mama, papa, tivy, chana and me.

Penny - Kelpie x Cocker Spaniel

Penny was put to sleep on 27 March 2007 at the age of 12 (nearly 13), suffering from chronic kidney failure. She was acquired from the Croydon Market as a very young puppy and was with us all her life.

Penny, we miss you so much. We miss our puppy that came running up from the backyard as soon as the garage door opened after work each afternoon. Life just isn’t the same now.

Letting you go was the hardest thing we have ever had to do, but we know you are comfortable and happy now.

To our beautiful puppy, rest in peace. We love you and always will.

Max

Max

Max was a Ridgeback X German Shepherd who died on 08-01-2007 aged 12. He was acquired from The Lost Dogs’ Home (North Melbourne) on 10 February 1995 aged 8 weeks old.

It was by pure chance that we crossed paths 12 years ago. You were only tiny, but that didn’t stop you climbing over all the other puppies to say hello. Our destiny was certain.

I am thankful for every moment we spent together. You are our protector, brother and teacher. You managed to survive malicious poisonings, cane toads, snakes and burglars. You are invincible. You even battled cancer until you couldn’t stand. I cannot believe your strength. Even in your final minutes with the vet I had to try and refrain you from taking a chunk out of her arm.

Everything in your life was for us, your pack.

I promise I will see you again.

Love always.

Jesse

Jesse (Cocker Spaniel x English Springer) came into our lives in 2005 from a friend and was with us for 2 years and 8 months. You were full of life and brightened the house. Even with your famous escape artist and being caught by a ranger - I could not get angry with you. Sadly you were hit by vehicle on February 5th and did not survive. Your loss affected me and my wife greatly. We value your cheerful playful attitude.
