He was the epitome of love, devotion & understanding. He will be missed almost more than can be put into words. He was my shadow, my friend. There was no other with a heart or love as big as this guy, he made friends both human & animal. His favorite thing was playing in the water, either fresh or ocean, and then flopping on the sand and giving a good roll and then a shake. He was devoted to our grandchildren of 15 & 12.

He passed quietly at home with my husband, daughter and myself. The vet came to our house and we were able to say goodbye to him with the dignity and love he deserved and earned. He will always be remembered and cherished, and I hope to see him in heaven and maybe we can play together again.

Piebies

Piebies, our sweet pearl-pied cockatiel. You came to us from Bird World in
Mornington at 3 months of age in 1993 and were a wonderful part of our
family for 16 happy years. Remember when you laid all those eggs
continuously one year? More than 20, we thought you’d never stop and were so
worried you would expire with exhaustion! I miss giving you ’scratchies’,
those little rump pats, you on my shoulder playing with my hair and tickling
my ear. Sorry we didn’t realise you had cancer until you had difficulty
flying and were near the end. I held you in my hands and you seemed quite
content while Dr Herbert at Lort Smith put you too sleep for the
x-rays, then into a deeper ’sleep’ after finding the cancer.. you wouldn’t
wake. Good-bye until our spirits meet, ’scatchies’, from Annie.

Famous

* Date of death: 1 April 2010

* Age at death: 17 years, 2 ½months

* Length of time with you: just under 17 years (17 January 1993)

* Your Name: Anna and Antonella Aucello

* Your general locality address: Kensington, Victoria

* Epitaph:
Famous, you were a beautiful and special companion, full of affection. In April you sadly succumbed to kidney disease, aged 17. You came a long way from the shy kitten that hid behind the large plant pot upon stepping foot in your new home. Over the years, you went on to rule the house and charm everyone.

You’ve left us with many pleasant memories: we’ll always remember your glossy black coat, enchanting green eyes, your constant chatter and mad moments!, the cheeky cat who’d creep into the bed on freezing nights then delicately punch me in the nose to wake me up and who’d demand her share of peas, yoghurt, corn chips and cinnamon cakes.

Famous, you will be cherished forever as a very special friend. Love you forever, Antonella, Anna and your friends, especially crazy cat Spazzy.

Nessie

nessie

Tortoiseshell cat: My beautiful Nessie, (pictured with Red also sadly
passed) found at the bottom of the stairs of Penrith unit we were living
in, in early 1990 already at least six months old. She followed me up
the stairs, inside and jumped straight up on the sofa like she knew she
belonged there. My affectionate and loving companion for 20 years.
Died in my arms at 2.00am in the morning on 27/04/10 breaking my heart.

I will miss you every day of the rest of my life my little bubby girl.

Jack

Jacky Boy our beloved Golden Retriever passed away on 29th April 2010 at the
age of 9 years. He was a much loved member of the Arndt family from Perth
W.A since we adopted him from our local vet in Karratha, 2001.

He was a very happy, lovable boy & his border collie brother Roga is feeling
quite lost without him. Jack - your mum, dad, brother, sisters & furry
brothers really miss you & will love you forever. Always in our hearts

Big kisses & cuddles
