Faithful Friends

Sadly we had to say goodbye to Emma following a rapid deterioration in her health. She managed for many years with an enlarged heart thanks to the wonders of modern medicine, however the onset of a second condition was all too much for her.

Emma was a faithful and loyal friend. She had a love for life and was a cheeky, loveable gal fondly referred to a “Emmy Lou”. We will miss her, but find comfort in knowing that she has now been reunited with her soul mate Kelly, a Bull Terrier who we lost four years ago. I have no doubt they are now playing in doggie heaven together.

Louis, you filled a place in my heart that I didn’t know needed filling. I was meant to help you, but instead you helped me. You were by far the BEST present I have ever received. You taught me to love and laugh. You were my best friend, the reason I came home at night and started me exercising and feeling alive again. I love the eight months we had together, I will always remember you and you will forever hold a special place in my heart.
