Faithful Friends

September 29th 2006 was one of the most painful days of our lives, having to say goodbye to our little bundle of joy Mashi. Mashi who was a lop ear rabbit was more like a little dog as she would follow us around the house and nudge on our feet for treats.

Mashi, we miss and love you so much and keep wondering how you can be taken from us so, so soon. To help us cope we often say to ourselves it’s not really a “goodbye” but a “see ya later” as we hope to be reunited again one day, but until then we pray that you are happy, safe and healthy in your new life.

Mashi

Schwarter – Shitzu/Pekenise - born 4 March 1996 passed away suddenly 8 August 2006. Schwarter was purchased on the same day as his mate Daisy and gave so much love and joy to us. He will be in my heart always.

So sadly missed by the O’Brien family especially his mate Daisy.

Fifteen years ago a fat little 8 week old black Labrador/Kelpie cross came to join our already youthful home near Millicent in SA. She has grown up with both the kids but, she has always been Mum’s best friend. That sound she made when you squeezed her little belly as a pup and the smell behind her ears are just some of the things I know she will dearly miss. On the 4th of October 2006, Millie told Mum with those beautiful big brown eyes that their time together on this earth had come.

Losing your best friend to the cruelness of time is a very sad time, but we always have the “Rainbow Bridge” where you will both be together again.

Brandy. Lost you this morning from snake bite. Miss you so much. Abysinnian cat, with us for less than a year, since 10 wks old. Brought so much love and fun. Can’t believe you are gone. Everything reminds me of you, because you were into everything. Beautiful girl, we will always remember you. Mourned for by Craig, Jo and Chabi.
