Brook

Brook, my beautiful gentle blue merle collie rough was 12 when we took that dreaded drive to the vets. I remember the 28th January 2006 as one of the most painful days of my life. The poor old dear, the nerves had died in her hind quarters and she could no longer play with the vigor that she once had. Right to the very end the mind was willing, but the body said “I can’t do it mum”. So it became cuddle time instead of play time. For the 12 wonderul years that my husband and I spent with her, we are grateful and she will always hold a big place in our hearts.

Tyson

Tyson a GSHPx, died 9.45 8 February 2006. Our beloved boy was 11 years old and we adopted him from The Lost Dogs’ Home on 25 March 1995 when he was 5 months old. He died while we were on holidays at Sandy Point, he was run over by a farm vehicle, broke his neck and luckily didn’t suffer. He is sadly missed by his human family and especially by his doggie mate Sandy who he has shared his life with for the past nine years. Thanks for all the happy memories and we will never forget you.

Jeb

Jeb

Our little dog Jeb passed away on 27.12.05. Jeb was a brown kelpie cross; we often said it must have been a mop. He was given to us as his litter were unsuitable for farm work. He had the shaggy appearance of Zebadee from the Magic Round About. He was 12 years old and he had been with us in Loxton, SA from 7 weeks. He was the most loving little fella. He was always so happy to see us and our friends loved him too. He was frightened of small children but used to have so much fun running around with our cat Mokie. Sadly she has been missing for the last 10 days and just hasn’t been herself since Jeb died.

We miss both our pets terribly and hope they are happy together somewhere.
