Wookie

Wookie
Wookie: March 1991 - September 2005
My dear Wookie,
After almost 15 years together, I’m sorry for the times you were neglected when I went out with friends instead of staying home with you. I’m sorry for not letting you inside because I didn’t like your fur on my clothes. I’m sorry for coming home late from nightclubbing and not feeding you until 1am. But most of all, I’m sorry for not being beside you when you let go of this life and started your journey into the next…

You were the best gift in my life. We spent our prime years together and I will miss you more than words can ever explain. Rest in peace my little Peke… you lived a full, happy life and loved me unconditionally. I’m sure we’ll meet again one day!

Love, Lidia

Minni

Name: Minni
Breed: Jack Russell
Died: 24.07.05 at 3pm
Age: 9 yrs, 10 mths
Name: Sherri, Terry & Cherry (Minni’s mate)
Location: Cheltenham, Victoria

A friend for 9 years, 5 months. Words cannot describe the pleasures she gave. She ruled the roost, even her lifelong companion Cherry (Ridgeback cross). Minni came into my life when I was down and out. Over the years we were very close. When I asked Minni if she loved Mummy she would kiss me. My little one had a bad attitude if Minni packed the S.O.L’S with you she would turn her head away from you until she forgave you and then she would be all over us. Anything that came into the house had to be looked at and approved of. Some say we spoilt her, but we think it was just love . There is so much we could say about our litltle Minni.

Minni

Rest in peace our little darling.

Tara

Tara

Tara (Bearded Collie) died in September 2004 at the age of 13.

A beautiful girl and a much loved member of our family and gave enormous joy to us. Our home and our hearts now seem so empty without her. A happy and endearing friend. Tara has given us so much love, happiness and kindness, yet she never asked for anything but love in return. Tara loved to play and would also be ready with a toy or ball to cheer us up. She cheered us up during our sad times and made our happy times even better. Tara will live in our hearts & minds forever.

Lucy Poppet

Our beautiful Lucy Poppet, died peacefully on 7th July 2005, aged 11.

Lucy Poppet

Lucy arrived in our home and hearts as a tiny white puppy with a huge personality. She gave us comfort, support, unconditional love and the occasional unexpected lick. She always welcomed us home with exuberant greetings. She was so happy to see us. She was stubborn, naughty, very greedy and did everything in her own time and we loved her so much for it. She never failed to make us laugh.

So many memories of Luie, but the words are inadequate to express how we feel. We are so thankful that she was a part of our lives. She will never leave our hearts.

We miss you.

Gary, Kathryn, Rowena and Felicity.

Jacqui Lee

Our faithful friend
Name: Jacqui Lee
Breed: Jack Russell Cross
DOB: 18/08/1992 (approx.)
Age at Death: 12 yrs, 10 mths
When & Where acquired: Mum, Heather, found her in a plastic bag under a bush in a local park.
Length of time with us: 12 yrs, 8 mths approx.
Our names: Mum - Heather, Dad - Eddie and Melissa (Jacqui’s human sister).
General Locality: Werribee, Victoria.

Our Jacqui Lee; laid to rest on 3rd June 2005. Our beloved pet, friend and mate. Your start in life was very tough, Mum found you abandoned in a plastic bag at a local park, left for dead at only 6 weeks old. After much love and care you survived and eventully at nearly 6 years old you got your only obedience title. Your love and loyalty were your two greatest qualities and you lived for your family.

When you were 10 years old we purchased another Dog, so that when your time was up, we would still have a friend, even though it wasn’t you. Your new mate “Oakie” our Australian Cattle Dog was with you for almost 2 years and he loved you too. He seemed to give you an added zest for life. The last 3 weeks of your life you lost that zest and we knew the time had come to say farewell. Thanks for all the good times, love and fun we had together.

Love from your humans - Mum, Dad & Melissa.

Matey

Breed: Great Dane x Boxer
Died: 14/11/2005
Age: 13 years and 1 month (with us from 1 month of age)
Name: Wakeman Family
Location: Lancefield, Victoria

Matey was a gentle giant with the most beautiful temperament and heart of gold, he touched and was loved by everyone who met him and there was never a bad word spoken about him. When the decision was made to put him to sleep, my heart did not break in two, it shattered! He is very much sadly missed but is resting with his best friend Sarah. We love you Matey, Kaye will never spend a better $50.
Thank you to Romsey Vets for their kind help and gentle thoughts and please remember to you he’s just a dog but to him you are everything.

Love you Matey, R.I.P with Sarah.

Love the Wakeman Family.
