Shadow

Name: Shadow
Breed: Unknown but huge
Died: February 2002
Age: Nearly 15
Acquired: Rescued
He was with me well over 14 years
Name: Beryl Mac
Location: Bundaberg Qld

You were a puppy when you crawled by my side. Starving, sick, badly treated and bred to fight pigs. I picked you up and hid you in my car. The vet told me you wouldn’t live, you had parvo also, you were put on a drip, you survived. In fact you survived for almost 15 years.

Shadow

You grew huge and so strong. I loved you so much . You were so special. I will never forget you. This web page I made keeps you alive within me.

Dexter

He was the best friend a human could ever have!!!
Gentle and kind, wise and caring
Thanks for sharing our lives.
Dex came from the RSPCA, and lived with us for 14 years.
He has been around for our joys and sorrows.
We will miss him dearly. He has left such a hole in our lives. You will always be with us Dekkie.

Sparky

Sparky Humberstone, Maltese Shitz Tzu cross passed away in his sleep 5 December 2004 aged around 12. Adopted from the RSPCA at age 6, we brought him home to Ringwood and he instantly became part of the family.

Sparky

There is an empty lap where once Sparky slept on cold winter evenings. I miss his crooked smile, the twitch of his tail and even his ear piercing yap that was exclusively his. I miss our chats as we shared toast at breakfast each morning, I miss his friendship and his company. He will always hold a special place in my heart.

Shumba

Shumba, you came to us when you were just 6 weeks old and although you were never a “cuddly” cat we still knew you loved us by the way you cuddled up to us at night when watching TV or curled up at our feet in bed at night.

Shumba

Shumba was a tabby killed suddenly when hit by a speeding car 23/5/05. Aged just 3 1/2. You are now resting peacefully under a tree in the bush watching your Crestmead home. Your feline friend Gizmo still looks for you and misses you terribly.

You will be sadly missed Shumba, and always remembered. Mum and Cindy

Max

This is Max who passed away in January 2003 but is still sadly missed. He was affectionately known as “The Maltese Mauler” but only in jest - you wouldn’t find a better natured little dog. A little dog who thought he was 6 feet tall! Max lived in a loving home in Wagga Wagga, NSW. After being found lost and lonely in the Wagga CBD he became an integral part of the Spink-Ryan household - and a great friend for Lucy the Stupid Shih-Tzu.

Max

Max was my little mate. Even writing this after he’s been gone for 2 and a half years I’m getting a tear in my eye… Jo misses him as much as I do.

Steven

Shar

A mincher pinser, and she died in 2003 at the age of 15. She died from falling in the fish pond and drowning, as she was scared from the fireworks celebrating new years eve. Shar will always be remebered by the Verrall family and all of her friends, including Narla (her doggy friend). She was with Narla for 8 years and Narla still misses her today. We adopted shar from a breeder in Brisbane.

We will miss Shar forever in our heart and souls.

Bertie

Bertie

He was my first dog from a shelter and he was also a “smiling ” dog. He lived from 1981 to 1995. In 1989 his photo was beamed around the world as a “rescued ” dog from flood waters around The Lost Dogs’ Home.

Graeme

Tyson

BOXER/RIDGEBACK; Our dear Tyson gave us 13 years of loyal friendship and protection, asking very little in return.

After being adopted in Wagga Wagga, Tyson spent 11 of his years in the warmth of Cairns. His last 18 months were enjoyed in Nowra where he contracted an agressive form of lymph cancer. Our dear boy only lasted 4 weeks after the diagnosis and was buried near the back fence of our one acre block on September 27th. 2004.

Tyson is fondly remebered with a thriving Lilly Pilly bush planted over his grave and tears still fall each time we visit.

Thank you ‘brown boy’ for choosing us.

Karen and Paul Ambrose.

Jabba

Goldfish - Jabba
Died - Monday 23rd May
Age - 10 years old

It’s pretty rare for a goldfish to live for a decade, so Jabba came to be a well loved member of our family! He suffered illnesses and shared the tank with some aggressive fish, but he managed to survive. We will miss Jabba and hope he’s happy in that big fish tank in the sky!
